Opener Festival
The Concept
The client aimed to promote McDonald’s at Open’er, Poland’s largest music festival, by enhancing brand image and offering attendees a memorable experience with a limited-edition festival McFlurry. They sought an engaging concept to showcase the activation on social media and take users on a virtual festival journey.
Our concept centered on relatability, inviting audiences to experience the event vicariously through two characters portrayed as everyday festivalgoers. Through reels and social media posts, we explored different aspects of the festival, capturing the experience in a natural, authentic way. Instagram stories were styled to feel like two friends sharing their day, posting as if they were just another one of your instagram friends rather than a large corporation, making the content more engaging and trustworthy.
Social Media Posts
The client wanted the event merchandise to be showcased in a way that felt seamlessly integrated with our creative concept. To achieve this, we designed a fictional magazine cover featuring our characters styled in the merch, positioning them as though they had been spotlighted by the festival itself for their distinctive fashion and individuality.
Our reels were based on festival insights featuring aspects of the event space or product that the client wanted to highlight.
